Sedum anglicum
A low, tight-growing evergreen stonecrop reaching only 1 to 3 inches tall and creeping to form a compact green carpet, with small plump succulent leaves that flush reddish bronze in sun and drought. It performs best in full sun to light shade with minimal water and sharp drainage. White star-shaped flowers with reddish reverses open in late spring to summer. Well suited to rock gardens, green roofs, narrow parking strips, and filling gaps between pavers and steppers where a fine, durable groundcover is needed.
