Senecio mandraliscae
A spreading succulent ground cover with striking powder-blue, finger-like upright foliage, forming colonies 18 to 24 inches wide and 12 to 18 inches tall. It thrives in full sun to light shade with fast-draining soil and very low water once established, handling heat, drought, and coastal conditions well. Grown chiefly for its bold silvery-blue color, it produces small dull white summer flowers of minor interest. Use for color contrast in succulent and Mediterranean plantings, on slopes and banks for erosion control, in parking strips, and as a low water-wise mass ground cover.
