Trachelospermum jasminoides
A versatile evergreen twining vine that climbs to 15 to 20 feet on support or trails as a sprawling ground cover 1 to 2 feet high when left unsupported. It grows in full sun to partial shade with moderate, regular water and adapts to most well drained soils. Glossy dark green foliage carries clusters of intensely fragrant, pinwheel shaped white flowers in late spring into summer. Use it on fences, trellises, and arbors, as a flowering bank cover on slopes, along walls, and for fragrant screening in courtyards and entries.
