Vinca major ‘Variegata’
A trailing evergreen ground cover with the same vigorous, rooting habit as the species, growing 6 to 12 inches tall and spreading by arching stems. Its green leaves are boldly margined and splashed with creamy white, brightening shaded plantings and contrasting with darker foliage. It performs best in part to full shade with low to moderate water and bears lavender-blue spring flowers. Useful for lighting up slopes, shaded beds, and areas beneath trees, and for spilling over walls, containers, and raised planters.
