Drosanthemum floribundum ‘Rosea’
A fast-spreading, trailing succulent ground cover that grows 6 to 12 inches tall and spreads several feet, draping readily over walls and banks while its small, sparkling, fleshy leaves form a dense mat. In spring it blankets itself in a profusion of glistening, daisy-like flowers in soft pink, nearly hiding the foliage at peak bloom. It needs full sun and fast-draining soil and is highly drought tolerant once established, making it an excellent choice for erosion control on slopes and freeway banks, parking strips, and cascading over retaining walls.
