Gazania ‘Aztec Orange’
A low, clumping evergreen perennial reaching roughly 6 to 10 inches tall and spreading 12 to 18 inches, with silvery green strap-shaped foliage. It thrives in full sun and needs only low to moderate water once established, tolerating heat, drought, and poor sandy soils with ease. This selection carries large, bright orange daisy flowers that open through the warm months, closing in the evening and on overcast days. Use it for mass plantings on slopes, sunny borders, parking strips, and erosion control, or as a tough low groundcover where a colorful, water-thrifty carpet is wanted.
