Gazania rigens ‘Orange’
A vigorous trailing gazania that forms a low, spreading mat of silvery gray-green foliage, typically 6 to 8 inches tall and spreading 18 to 24 inches or more. It thrives in full sun and tolerates heat, drought, and lean or sandy soils once established, asking only for occasional water. Bold daisy-like flowers in bright orange open through the warm months and stand up well to coastal and inland conditions. Excellent as a low water lawn substitute, on slopes for erosion control, in parking strips, and along borders and walkways.
