Hedera helix ‘Needlepoint’
A finer-textured English ivy with small, deeply cut, star-shaped leaves on densely branching stems that trail and climb, spreading two to three feet and rooting as they go. It tolerates full sun to shade and asks for moderate, regular water, staying tidy and refined in habit. Grown for its delicate evergreen foliage, it works well as a controlled ground cover, in borders and parking strips, spilling over walls and raised beds, and as a softening cover on slopes.
