Lampranthus spectabilis ‘Pink’
A low, spreading South African succulent that forms a dense mat roughly 12 to 18 inches tall and spreads 18 to 24 inches wide, clothed in fleshy gray green finger-like foliage. It demands full sun and very little water once established, thriving in fast-draining soils and tolerating heat, salt spray, and reflected light. In late winter through spring it covers itself in daisy-like pink flowers that open in bright sun and create a sheet of color. Excellent for slopes, erosion control, parking strips, hot embankments, and water-wise borders where a tough flowering ground cover is needed.
