Lampranthus spectabilis ‘White’
A low trailing succulent that spreads into a tidy mat 12 to 18 inches tall and 18 to 24 inches wide, carrying fleshy gray green finger-like leaves. It requires full sun, excellent drainage, and minimal irrigation once established, performing well in hot, dry, and coastal sites. In late winter and spring it is covered with crisp white daisy-like flowers that open in the sun and brighten the planting. Use for slopes, erosion control, parking strips, and low-water borders, and to lighten and contrast with the warmer flower colors of the genus.
