Gazania ‘Aztec Queen’
A heat-loving, mat-forming evergreen perennial growing about 6 to 10 inches tall and spreading 12 to 18 inches, with green to silvery foliage. It performs best in full sun with low to moderate irrigation, standing up to drought, reflected heat, and lean coastal soils. The large daisy blooms show warm multi-toned petals in golden orange to amber shades that brighten the planting from spring into fall. It is well suited to slopes, sunny borders, median strips, and erosion control, or as a durable, low-water groundcover in full-sun exposures.
