Dwarf Iceplant (Ruschia lineolata 'Nana')

Dwarf Iceplant

Ruschia lineolata ‘Nana’

A compact, slow-spreading succulent ground cover that forms a tight, low cushion roughly four to six inches tall and spreads one to two feet, building a dense mat of fine blue-green foliage. It needs full sun and sharp drainage, is exceptionally drought and heat tolerant once established, and takes poor and sandy soils in stride. Tiny pink to lavender daisy-like flowers appear in cooler months against the fine-textured foliage. Specify it for low-water mass plantings, slopes and erosion control, parking strips, and tough fire-conscious landscapes where a flat, even ground cover is wanted.
