Gazania ‘Fiesta Red’
A clumping evergreen perennial about 6 to 10 inches tall with a 12 to 18 inch spread and silvery to green foliage. It needs full sun and only low to moderate irrigation, tolerating drought, reflected heat, and poor sandy soils once established. The large daisy blooms open in bright fiery red, often with golden or darker centers, providing strong color from spring into fall. Use it for mass color on slopes, in sunny borders, parking strips, and erosion control, or as a low, heat-tough groundcover in full-sun exposures.
