Sedum hispanicum ‘Aureum’
A low, spreading stonecrop forming a fine golden mat 1 to 3 inches tall, the golden form of Spanish stonecrop, with slender succulent leaves in bright chartreuse to yellow that intensify in full sun. It needs full sun, low water, and sharp drainage to hold its best color, tolerating poor soils with ease. Pale white star-shaped flowers appear in summer above the foliage. Excellent for color contrast in rock gardens, green roofs, slope plantings, borders, and between steppers and pavers.
