Sedum spurium ‘Green’
A fast-spreading, mat-forming stonecrop with glossy green, rounded and scalloped foliage that forms a dense carpet 12 to 18 inches wide and 3 to 6 inches tall. It grows in full sun to part shade in well-drained soil and asks for little water once established, shrugging off heat and drought. Pink to rose star-shaped flowers appear above the foliage in summer. Use as a durable ground cover and lawn substitute, between pavers and stepping stones, on slopes for erosion control, and along borders and parking strips.
