Pelargonium peltatum
A trailing evergreen perennial with cascading stems reaching 2 to 3 feet and glossy, ivy-shaped leaves, offered here in an assorted color mix spanning red, pink, lavender, and white. It favors full sun to light afternoon shade with moderate water and sharp drainage, flowering freely from spring through summer and often longer in mild coastal climates. The vigorous trailing habit lends itself to spilling and draping. Use it as a flowering groundcover for sunny slopes, cascading over walls and raised planters, and for broad sweeps of mixed color in borders and parking strips.
