Mimulus ‘Jelly Bean Lemon’
This hybrid shrubby monkeyflower forms a compact, mounding evergreen subshrub roughly 1 to 2 feet tall and wide, with sticky, deep green foliage. It carries large, open-faced lemon yellow flowers from late spring through summer, often reblooming with light shearing. Plant in full sun along the cooler coast or part shade inland, and give it fast-draining soil with only occasional summer water once established. Use it for low water borders, rock gardens, container plantings, and pollinator zones where its bright bloom and tidy habit attract hummingbirds and native bees.
