Lampranthus spectabilis ‘Lavender’
A spreading succulent ground cover that grows roughly 12 to 15 inches tall and trails 1.5 to 2 feet wide, building a low carpet of fleshy, blue green, three sided leaves. It performs best in full sun with sharply drained soil and very low water, offering excellent drought, heat, and coastal tolerance once established. The species is celebrated for its showy spring flush of large, shimmering daisy like blooms, here in a lavender to purple tone that opens fully on sunny days. Ideal for slopes, banks, erosion control, rock gardens, parking medians, and trailing over walls and edges.
