Gazania ‘Orange’
This clumping South African daisy forms low mounds of silvery-green foliage roughly 6 to 10 inches tall and spreading 10 to 12 inches wide. It thrives in full sun with low water once established and tolerates heat, sandy soils, and coastal exposure. Bright orange, daisy-like flowers open through the warm months, closing in the evening and on overcast days. Use it for mass color in borders, parking strips, slopes, and hot dry beds where a tough, drought-tolerant bedding plant is needed.
