Thymus serpyllum ‘Pink’
A low spreading creeping thyme reaching 2 to 4 inches tall and spreading 12 to 18 inches, forming a dense aromatic mat of small dark green leaves on wiry stems. It performs best in full sun with good drainage and is highly drought tolerant, requiring only low to moderate water once established. This selection blooms in clear pink, blanketing the foliage in early to midsummer and drawing pollinators. Excellent as a lawn substitute, between pavers and flagstones, along border edges, in parking strips, and on dry slopes for erosion control.
