Lampranthus spectabilis ‘Rosepink’
This selection forms a spreading succulent ground cover 12 to 18 inches tall and 18 to 24 inches across, with fleshy gray green foliage that remains evergreen in mild-winter regions. It thrives in full sun with fast-draining soil and very little supplemental water, standing up to heat, drought, and coastal exposure. Late winter through spring brings a heavy flush of rose pink daisy-like flowers that open fully in bright light. Well suited to slopes, erosion control, water-wise borders, rock gardens, and parking strip plantings.
