Gazania ‘Sunset Burgundy’
This clumping gazania forms low mounds 6 to 10 inches tall and 10 to 12 inches wide with grayish-green foliage. It is a full-sun, low-water selection once established, well suited to heat, lean soils, and coastal sites. Rich burgundy to deep red daisy flowers, often with contrasting tones, open by day and close in the evening. It makes a strong color accent in borders, parking strips, and sunny slopes, and contrasts nicely with lighter gazania shades in mass plantings.
