Aptenia cordifolia ‘White’
A trailing succulent groundcover that grows roughly 6 inches tall and spreads 2 feet or more, forming a dense mat of glossy, heart-shaped green leaves on fleshy, fast-rooting stems. It is well suited to full sun, needs little water once established, and thrives in heat, lean fast-draining soils, and coastal exposures. This selection bears small white to pale daisy-like flowers through the warm season that open in bright sun. Use it for rapid coverage on sunny slopes, erosion control, parking strips and medians, and cascading over walls and planters in drought-tolerant and fire-wise landscapes.
