Myoporum parvifolium ‘White’
A tough, fast-growing evergreen ground cover that stays low at 3 to 6 inches tall while spreading 6 to 9 feet wide, rooting along its trailing stems to form a dense, weed-suppressing mat. Once established it is highly drought tolerant, thriving in full sun with low to moderate water and adapting to a range of well-drained soils. The narrow, bright green succulent-like foliage is covered through spring and summer with small star-shaped white flowers that attract bees. Use it for large-scale bank and slope cover, erosion control, parking strips, freeway and commercial plantings, and any broad area needing reliable, low-maintenance coverage.
