Gazania ‘Yellow Cascade’
A trailing, spreading gazania that stays low at roughly 6 to 8 inches tall while running 18 inches or more, with silvery foliage that knits together into a dense mat. It thrives in full sun with low water once established and tolerates heat, drought, and coastal exposure. Bright yellow daisy flowers cover the plant through the warm season, closing at night and on cloudy days. Its spreading habit makes it ideal as a lawn substitute, for slope cover, erosion control, and cascading over walls and parking strip edges.
